spacehussy and I are watching G1! It is hysterical. I'm utterly in love with the animation errors. We just saw the Skyfire episode and somehow started talking about an AU in which Starscream rules the Decepticons with Skyfire as his consort. We also talked about how AWESOMELY GIANT Skyfire is. I love it. I love it so much. I love how Starscream's voice changes around Skyfire - and then around Megatron, he remembers to stop being vulnerable. Oh, this show. You can read basically anything into it. ...So of course I had to write Lord Starscream with his giant consort.

When Starscream entered the throne room, all eyes turned to his grip on his pet's leash - dangling loose this cycle, a sign of good mood. Their Lord's gait swung seductively, and if there were those who shied from such thoughts there were more who watched covetously, enviously, as he approached his throne. With a blast of his thrusters and an elegant twist, he settled in the high seat as its rightful owner. His pet settled beside him, as curiously obedient as ever - the great creature could snap the leash in an instant, could probably kill Lord Starscream with not much more effort. But a gentle tug on the delicate chain brought him to heel. Even kneeling beside the high throne, he had to duck his head to nuzzle Starscream's thrusters. Accepting such worship as his due, Lord Starscream cast his gaze over the throne room and declared, "The first supplicant may approach."

So I got linked to this early this morning and still, STILL, have not been able to really do something besides ajfadkjsdfjkldfsjksdfjksdfjkdsf. Because. Okay. My ID.

I love the detail of everyone instantly glancing first at his grip on Skyfire's leash in order to gauge Starscream's mood, and I *adore* the note that Skyfire could break it easily, and the total bafflement as to why he doesn't. Gentle tug and delicate chain and down to his knees he goes.

Also, I really like the note of the size difference meaning he still has to duck his head to nuzzle Starscream.

I... am not at all sure how on earth this scenario came to be and I don't even *care*, because my ID, and yet. No really. How did it get there?

And yes, yes, this, every single rewatch I *never get over* that moment.

I actually totally understand and I had to restrain myself from babbling in kind - I have a literal sickness right now, so babble is actually very energy-consuming, so I can't do much of it! But rest assured that I am most pleased that I managed to hit your buttons right on the nose. :3 If it intrigues you at all, spacehussy and I are writing a sticky pre-war Skyfire/Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker thing that is almost entirely about Skyfire's relationship with Starscream. It's, uh, not a very serious fic though. And it has nothing to do with anything. But if that's the kind of thing you're interested in... :3 I am pretty sure there is bits of it posted in lex under the writing tag.
