Man, this right on top of Movieverse Wheeljack actually looking amazingly sexy is just - blowing my mind. Having to look at Sentinel's monkeyface all movie long is gonna hurt, and frankly Shockwave is just not up to par, but hnnnngh sexy robots.
Sooo a whole two people said they were maybe interested in a Minecraft server. :\ One of them doesn't even own the game. Oh well. It was a fun idea but I guess the Minecraft-playing circles don't really overlap with the TF-loving circles.lob4r;/ (Nostalgia says hi!)
Okay so, I have Thoughts on TFP and I wish to share them! Which shall have to wait for another day, because first I want to babble about Con Job.
Okay first? SOUNDWAVE. Fffffffff he's just pure sex. Every time I see him I literally wriggle with glee. SO COOL. Also, ahaha, Makeshift's little WHOA NOW as Bulkhead went to hug him was hilarious. I don't really get why people are put off by Wheeljack being in the Wreckers - seriously, guys, you don't blink at Perceptor being in a frontline unit, but Wheeljack is the deal-breaker? wtf. But that aside, dude, why is no one talking about Bulkhead having been in the Wreckers? He's getting a lot of subtle characterization - yeah, there's the stupid moments with the girly screaming that only works because his VA is amazing, but there's also his passionate description of watching a guy being eaten alive by scraplets. This is not an academic thing to him - he has seen it firsthand and was helpless to stop it. And then, with Wheeljack's intro - "I taught him that." RUNNING A GUY THROUGH WITH A SWORD. BULKHEAD TAUGHT HIM THAT. fdkshfkjhsd why is no one else totally falling for how fucking amazing this Bulkhead is? He's the perfect balance of adorable, badass, and loosely-outlined background with other sexy characters. He's just ridiculously awesome.
ANYWAY. Optimus gives good speech, albeit too much, but Starscream does that traditional HERE, LET ME EXPLAIN MY EVIL PLAN bullshit. Sigh. Soundwave, why can't you be in charge? It would be amazing. :( I mean, he's the power behind Starscream anyway, but Starscream is just... not the best leader. He'd be much better if he'd shut up about it.
oh man Makeshift is a creepy bugger. I love the scene where he's talking to Ratchet about the bridge. I hear other people thought that was ridiculously over the top sinister, but dsjfhks I got shivers watching his expression. So carefully casual, yet so intent.
wow so wait. Wait. Last episode, Prime gave us our big DON'T PICK ON FAT KIDS speech, but this episode Arcee is making fat jokes? And not in a gently teasing way, but in a really, really smarmy asshole way. With Bee adding commentary. What the fuck. I want to be offended but I'm really not sure what the fuck they're trying to say here. Like... seriously, he's not fat, he's a robot. What the hell. Did Bulkhead sit onArcee's puppy Jack or something? (god I wish)
Makeshift/Miko trololo no really, I love the bit where he's like WE'LL GET ALONG JUST FINE :3 And then requesting a private tour hurr hurr.
okay what the fuck is up with the Eradicons having REALLY STUPID VOICES. I thought it was just like, that one guy, who was apparently voiced by the director's nephew or something (CAN YOU THINK OF A BETTER REASON FOR A VA THAT TERRIBLE)but no, apparently I just need to write a love/hate letter to the casting director. DEAR CASTING DIRECTOR, PLEASE ACCEPT MY UNENDING GRATITUDE FOR BULKHEAD AND ALSO MY UNENDING HATE FOR ERADICONS.
Whoa, Makeshift/Wheeljack is FAST. I was about to say that he's probably feeling a little intimidated by a dude twice his size getting in his face, but nope, he's just like FWOOSH HOSTAGE. Mmmm their faces are so expressive. I like that Wheeljack has some texture going on there - Optimus' gash-mouth still disturbs me. And hey, his eyes DO have detail! I had a theory about recurring vs. doomed characters and eye detail, and I am happy to say that according to this theory he'll be back.
lol Starscream XD I feel a little bad, he's got some blue blood-stuff coming from his mouth. D: But his voice is adoraaaaaaAAAAAHHHHHH WHEELJACK VS. WHEELJACK OMG *flail*
awww Makeshift. :( That makes me sad, he was actually really cool. I am really, really disappointed that this show is falling into the Michael Bay school of Kill All Decepticons. Guys, they're characters, not cardboard. Develop them. Sigh.

Come on guys, we can do better than this. :( I'm not even upset about it, just the same sort of vaguely sad as when I see people writing out Jazz's accent. You'll learn better one day, guys, I just wish I didn't have to see your growing pains.
