Hmmm so, I am considering locking this journal to restrict access and whatnot. There's nothing really revealing but it weirds me out to think that random anonymous people might be lurking around. I'm a very private person, so that is just kinda super creepy. I can grant access to OpenID accounts, so it's not like I'd be excluding LJ people.

Anyway! I expect a bunch of people from the TF friending meme are making their way over here, and for some reason this makes me want to do a rundown of my works in progress.

In no particular order...

Working title: a sundial in the shade
Also known as: the Prowl/Sunstreaker/Jazz thing
This one is ALMOST FUCKING DONE AHHHHHHHHHHHH. This started as an indulgent exercise - I had been reading too much of a particular author and accidentally absorbed their writing style, so this story was started to ease myself back into my own style. It worked, and then it turned into a really hot story, and now it's maybe another 100-200 words away from done. But I have no freee time. DAMNIT SCHOOL

Working title: leetle pinch?
Also known as: the Scorponok/Starscream one
Movieverse, mind you. UR TOES NEED MAH PINCHES. Basically this is the cutest fucking thing I have ever written. Scorponok would totally pull Starscream's pigtails. This one is also pretty close to done.

Working title: Glory
Also known as: The Fucking Epic Love Story
Oh Glory. 12.5k and you still don't know what you want to be. This story is my baby, the first serious story I started in this fandom, and every scene is beautiful - but I'm still trying to figure out what story it's telling. I thought it was an epic slow Prowl/twins romance but now who the hell knows. I need a really, really, really good beta to help me figure that out.

Working title: trinefic
Also known as: the Skyfire/trine one
Set pre-war, this story is just awesome to write. It's about Skyfire's relationship to Starscream, the trine's relationships, the culture of Vos, and the joy of flying with a partner. It's absurd and we love it. This one is co-written with spacehussy.

Working title: Dis
Also known as: the Shockwave/Blurr horrible thing
This story cannot be described with words, but it is not arrogance to say that when it's done it will be the best Shockwave/Blurr story out there. Also, its warning list will be a mile long and we will mean every damn one of them. Co-written with spacehussy.

Working title: dystopian Sunstreaker/Prowl
Also known as: the only realistic way Prowl would get together with anyone
So basically I broke Prowl, kicked him out of the Autobots, put him in a pit and eventually sent Sunstreaker to visit. This isn't a nice story and it's also barely started and may end up abandoned. I hope not though, it's a good idea. Maybe it just need a rewrite.

Working title: the thing for Katarik
Also known as: Skyfire and Starscream's only possible happy ending (in a cave)
For this one I hurt Starscream until he couldn't run anymore and then shoved him in a cave with Skyfire. Gradually they figure things out. It's still early for this story, but I'm not worried.

Working title: dronefic
Also known as: L plays with language and robots lulz
Sooooooooooooo yeah. I have no excuse, this one is so indulgent. Basically, set in TFA, I am playing with the idea that Shockwave was originally a sparked drone. He is very, very, very old and has gradually gained enough processor power and experience to be more than what he was made to be. He ends up being reasonably instrumental to the start of Megatron's war. SO INDULGENT.

please leave the cat stories open? ^__^ That video of the squirrel being COMPLETELY UNFAZED by the cat pawing at the invisible forcefield less than 1/8 inch away from squirrelfluff is made of awesome.

Really I think the cat has the more sensible approach there -- "I can't see it, how is it blocking meee?" rather than the squirrel's "hahahahaha u can't touch dis" considering I don't think squirrels actually understand how glass works, but anyhow.

All the other squirrels bolt the second Nostalgia pounces. There is only one that knows cats can't get through windows. XD Velocisquirrel is so goddamn fearless it's ridiculous. And Nostalgia... well, one of these days she's going to break either my window or her neck. :\ And okay, see, getting anonymous comments from people who love my cat is kinda freaking me out. I know you mean well but I'm a bit paranoid in my protectiveness of her. I still have nightmares that people come and take her away from me.

Has completely and totally forgotten her DW account password. *facepalm*) So I'm not a completely out of the blue stranger with designs upon your cat, just a ditz who hasn't figured out how to work OpenID for cross-site authenticating to anything, and I forgot to 'initial' the last post.

also has a soft spot for squirrels in addition to cats, and Nostalgia reminds me a lot of what my cat must've been like as a kitten before I got him, on account of being black and slinky and completely fascinated by anything that twitches. ...including my feet. esp. when under blankets. am giving semiserious contemplation to leather socks on account of how claws would go straight through chain mail socks. XD anyway, you kind of know me? ^^;;;; really sorry about spooking you...

I have a huge soft spot for Velocisquirrel. She's awesome and gorgeous. Way better than all the other squirrels. ♥ Nostalgia will play with my hands under the covers, even when I'm asleep, but she doesn't really go for my feet. Thank goodness. At least she doesn't have tiny kitten needles any more... XD

Yesss it's so angsty! :D I totally broke Prowl. Which is sad. And the whole point of the story is that he kinda has to stay broken. Poor Prowl. But Sunstreaker helps!
