Day 5 – What kind of comments do you use for feedback and why?

I try to give good feedback. I am a pretty firm believer in putting in what I get from people online - I respond in kind, basically. If a story made me think deeply, I want to leave a thoughtful comment. If it was brief but enjoyable, I usually leave a sentence or two with pretty shallow meaning: "awww, they're so cute" or something. But no matter what, I try to refer to a specific thing about the story that I liked. Even when I'm reduced to incoherent keymashing, I try to specify what got that reaction. Unfortunately, I pretty much only comment on the middle ground of fics due to this setup - commenting on the really really good stuff takes so much energy and time to be coherent and useful that I often just give up, and the popcorn fics just don't get comments from me at all (partly because, well, I go through them like popcorn and there was nothing memorable to mention in my comment). Good intentions, a very hot road, etc.

I want a nap, not 10 straight hours of classes. ;_; At least I had my twin's delicious squash soup to fill my tummy. Mmmmm. I think I might be getting the urge to work on Glory again. Maybe. Kinda. XD Trying not to jinx it.

+nods firmly+ That's a good commenting policy.

It would be better if I actually commented more, though. XD
