3. Every time I see the Monday Pride Thread I think of you! XD You've cheered me on more than once, but it's still weird to see you there. idk why.
4. ...Beachcomber.
5. Why do you only use one icon? I mean, I'm not going OMG ONLY ONE ICON but it's unusual for our part of fandom, so I am curious.
6. You seem so interested in utterly everything. Honestly interested, not facetious! You absorb the world like a sponge. It's awesome.
7. The Green Gaslight.
8. An adorable fuzzy octopus with curly little tentacles.

3. The weeks I fail to post at all on the Pride thread? are the weeks I am losing the fight.
4. Really? +preens+
5. Laziness? A lot of my icons are specific purpose icons, and I don't always remember them.
6. I was raised in a family where the adage "the day you stop learning is the day you die" was adhered to, despite the various parts of how my family is full of fail.
7. +giggles+

3. Every time I see anything about Season 3 of G1! XD
4. Prowl.
5. If someone were to give you the perfect fic, what would it be like?
6. You write fabulously. Seriously. I have two of your stories in tabs right now, waiting for me to gather the words to respond in a way other than keyboard-mashing. You hit ALL THE BUTTONS.
7. THE ONE RESPLENDENT.
8. Breakdancing Scorponok on my desk.

Date: 2010-08-31 02:23 pm (UTC)5. That's hard, because I think part of it being perfect is it not being something I could describe in advance? Though it would be awesome if someone came up with a fic that explained to my satisfaction what happened between TFTM and the beginning of Season 3...
6. *blushes* Thank you! (...which ones?)
7. ...seriously? May I request a picture?
no subject
Date: 2010-08-31 03:11 pm (UTC)5. I totally understand. XD What are some qualities you love to see in fic, then? Is it the pairing, the kink, the worldbuilding, the writing style, the plot-fixes, the character interactions...?
6. The Reminder and Not Exactly A Role Reversal, although I lost a lot of tabs a while back and I am pretty sure at least one of your stories was on there. Basically, if you've posted it and I haven't commented, it's because I was so overwhelmed with how YES it is. Everything you write bowls me over. I'm not saying this as an ingratiating compliment, it's just fact XD If anything I am shaking my fist at you because I NEEDED THAT BRAIN, DAMNIT, AND NOW IT IS ALL IN PIECES ON THE FLOOR WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT.

Date: 2010-09-01 01:09 am (UTC)So it would be something new and exciting and kinky and probably also good with the characters and ideas and worldbuilding--and not too long. I don't deal well with anything more than about 10,000 words, generally. Oh, and I like Aliens Being Alien, although I'm not so interested in their anatomy being different as their culture being different.
Though, really, it'll take me a while to get bored with Galvatron putting Cyclonus on his knees, if anyone wants to write me some more of that. XD
5. <333333333333 on you. Seriously, take your time, any time you want to comment and tell me how awesome you think my fic is, I am totally up for that. XD
7. THAT IS ADORABLE. *pets it*
(Although not quite as entertaining as it was in my head, where I was trying to picture G1 Scorponok and/or BW Scorponok breakdancing...)

3. For some reason, prime numbers. Huh.
4. Ratchet.
5. What pronoun set do you prefer? That is possibly a weird question but hey, that's what memes are for.
6. I have to pick one? D: Hmm... You don't do drama. I really appreciate that in a person.
7. I... I can't think of anything. Your username is too awesome, it overcomes all my attempts at a nickname. D:
8. Bruce, my deer skull. He's quite handsome and nice to pet.

Date: 2010-08-31 04:17 am (UTC)2. ... that sounds pretty hot, actually.
3. Pft, really? I wonder how come. i must conduct myself in a primely manner hahaha i'm stopping now
4.
it's because I throw wrenches at people isn't it5. Do you mean to refer to myself, or an in general of the various gendered/non-gendered sets?
6. Aww, thank you <3
7. OH NO SAD D FACE, it's okay, I'm flattered on behalf of my username
8. Bruce <3 Deer skulls are awesome. I used to have one on the household altar when I lived with my mother. Too bad it's gone now.

Date: 2010-08-31 01:24 pm (UTC)3. Nah, prime number just taste good. It's like biting into the most satisfying sandwich ever made. I found out the other day there is a thing called a HAPPY PRIME. brb dying of lulz
4.
Damn your wrenches, I have dents in my head5. To yourself! Not that it matters, I usually arrange my sentences so that I don't have to use pronouns, but I am curious.
8. I thought about having an altar - my parents did, and they encouraged me in this, but then I realized that all my bones and skulls and twigs and whatnot were just what I wanted to surround myself with. So Bruce chills with my books, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker hang out by my rust collection, a pair of antlers is holding up my headcrab plush... Yep, just a little odd. XD

Date: 2010-09-02 07:17 am (UTC)1. Thank you :) I will pass on praise to Nuts when she returns from the land of Not At Home This Week. I was a little unsure about the face bar too, but Nuts adapted it off of... some G1 comic incarnation of Ironhide if I remember right, due to her fondness of the windshield-in-front-face look, and I've grown more attached to it myself. Helps that it symbolically fits into his future story. It does present an emoting challenge, but so do facemasks/visors and with Midline being so gregarious, it'll ideally push her to show off his emotions in ways other than the face. (Ideally.) (And well, failing that, we'll use that awesome manga cheat of MAKING THINGS INVISIBLE AS NEEDED hur hur.) Also I see what you mean with the delicate thighs. There's a lack of overall beefiness in some of the designs, which we're gonna discuss when she sits down to redoing Codebreak who is currently not nearly enough beef for being the team's Tank. I think it goes back to most of her previous art experience being with manga style bishounen, where slenderness is part of the artistic beauty appeal. ::ramble ramble::
4.
Well if you just DODGED more often, this wouldn't be a problem.5. Ah, okay! As a cisgendered woman, I am perfectly comfy with the female set.
8. I say having your pieces of Import where they mean the most to you is what matters. I've considered making an altar since I moved away from my mom, but I realized that I had a level of connection to my altars in the forest we lived in that I wouldn't share with any house altar I made now. That said, I've been seriously considering making one outside in our garden to, at the risk of sounding lame here, honor and symbolize my stewardship over this little piece of land. ;;;;

Date: 2010-09-02 11:42 pm (UTC)1. I love your "beautiful" icon too. :3
2. It's not a metal, but you're kyanite. Congrats :D
3. Skyfire! I associate you with Skyfire in my head, particularly when he was in the ice.
4. hmmmm. Looking past my associations with Skyfire... You're like Hound, I think. Maybe.
5. What else do you like in TF other than Skyfire and Starscream? XD
6. You are incredibly fun to talk to. I love babbling about robots with you.
7. ZOOMBA
8. Two pistols.

Date: 2010-09-03 12:05 am (UTC)2. Oh, I've seen samples of that! It's a lovely stone, and technically it has metal *in*...
3. Yeah, I can kind of understand associating me with Skyfire. *Just a little bit*. *snerks at self* Why particularly in the ice?
4. Hound is cool! I like Hound.
5. Heh. Potentialities more than the actual canon itself -- I haven't seen TFA or BW, and Bayverse is *not* my game; G1 tends to drive me up the wall with the problem it has of show v. tell. I hyperfocus like the crazy person I am, and Skyfire is my focus-point, but... I really like the twins, I like Prime quite a bit, Raoul makes me happy in my soul and therefore I am fond of Tracks, Cyclonus hits my kinks *hard* (hi, caia, ilu), I am fond of Ironhide, Jazz brings me *joy*, Chip makes me happy...
But the stories that show up in my head, and the thoughts that stay, tend to be about Skyfire, because he's what I glommed to. I am kind of a one-trick pony, in some ways, which I vaguely resent, but hyperfocus is a characteristic of my particular special special braen that I have long since gotten used to.
6. Awwww! Thank you! I love babbling about robots with you, too -- you are thinky and have interesting things to say. I just, uh, have this habit of never shutting up ever.
8. Oooh, what kind of pistols?

Date: 2010-09-03 01:53 am (UTC)5. So you like a lot of things but ADORE Skyfire? :3 Is it okay that I find that adorable? And also it makes it easy to write gifts for you! Mwa ha ha~ I hope you'll like the trine fic that spacehussy and I are working on. It's going to be so fabulous.
6. dude I love chatting about robots with people who never shut up |D Talking and thinking and getting my thoughts in order is very good for me, and it helps me to write better and exposes me to more viewpoints, and basically I DO NOT MIND, TALK AT ME MORE ♥
8. a .45 and a .40 but they're both crap and idk the makers. :\ They're not mine, they're my Dad's, but we keep them in my room for some reason. Someday, though, I will have a Springfield .45. *_* SOMEDAY, MY PRECIOUS. God I love that gun.

Date: 2010-09-03 02:13 am (UTC)3. I know I knew of you previously, and we may have briefly chattered before then? But I think that was the longest single conversation, yes.
5. I am not kidding about hyperfocus! I tend to find one thing to glom onto and then I NEVER LEAVE EVER; it does indeed make it very easy to write gifts for me. Because I am ridic.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee trinefic I AM LOOKING FORWARD WITH SUCH GLEE.
6. *ahahahahahahahaha* I LOVE TO CHATTER. Let us chatter more!
8. I will be taught to shoot soon! I haven't held a gun since I was idk twelve or so. :/
(your food tag amuses me and now i have the song stuck in my head, thanks ever so)

Date: 2010-09-03 03:19 am (UTC)3. If this is the case, I can guarantee I will never remember any prior conversation. XD It takes me a few tries to remember anyone. You're that person Merfilly sent over for my Skyfire stories who turned out to be awesome and who I totally want to be friends with! OH SHIT I ENDED WITH A PREPOSITION EVERYBODY HIT THE DECK
5. I usually focus on one thing like that, but for some reason in TF I'm branching out. It's kind of wild, being interested in so many characters! I like ALL the things and it's very odd.
derp derp I forgot to mention that the trinefic is about Skyfire |D It's utterly indulgent, already absurdly long, and ridiculously fun. also 2/3 of it is the sex scene ahahaha oh god.
8. Pistols are fun! Just know your gun safety rules before you even touch a gun: Never point it at anything you don't want to shoot, and never shoot anything you don't want to kill. Always have a backstop. Respect the firing line. Hopefully you know all this already XD And then there's stuff like make sure the webbing of your thumb doesn't get sliced by the sliding bits, don't lock your elbows, pick up your brass... and check your dominant eye! You'll want to hold the gun with your dominant hand and aim with your dominant eye and use the non-dominant bits as support, and if the eye and hand are on opposite sides of your body it can get challenging.
Oddly enough this is making me miss archery. XD

Date: 2010-09-03 03:29 am (UTC)3. THEN LET IT BE SO. (i actually wander over every so often to read and coo at your cat, i am just queen of not saying anything. *fails*)
5. I *always* hyperfocus. It is actually really tiresome, but what can you do, my brain has worked this way since I realized I had a brain. /o\ On the other hand, the fannish things I do this with end up making me *ridiculously happy*, c.f. my TOTALLY WONDERFUL Skyfire figure of JOY. I need more icons of that mech. *plots to rewatch ep*
*beeeeeeeeeeeeeams at*
8. My basic knowledge of gun safety is that first bit! If you point it, shoot it; if you shoot it, kill it; otherwise, DON'T. I fired a gun at twelve-ish and, ha, I totally forgot that my cop buddy showed me how to take apart her Glock a couple years ago. So I have *held* a gun since then.
I think the last time I fired a bow, though, I was a freshman in high school. :(
