EVERYTHING! WHY EVERYTHING SUCKS What happened to Skyfire in G1! He just kinda fades out, right, he has his episode in the spotlight and then he's an overly cheerful taxi until Omega Supreme shows up and then he's just - not there any more. Okay so this is how it goes.

Skyfire joins the Autobots. But he was a Decepticon, and close to Starscream, and you don't really trust someone like that. And he's never been a social guy and he doesn't quite know how to reach through that kind of distance, though he tries. Have you noticed that half the time when they're looking for him, he's out flying around? (haha especially in the episode where everyone turns evil.) He does that, he goes out and flies and angsts, because it's better than being trapped inside the Ark with the Autobots and it's WAY better than being trapped with the Decepticons. But he feels he has a responsibility to the Autobots still. So he stays.

And then Omega Supreme comes, and they don't need him anymore, and he leaves. He just flies away.

1. He really doesn't like other Decepticons. He puts up with them because they serve Megatron.

2. His body now doesn't look like the one he was protoformed with and he doesn't remember what it looked like.

3. It's not that he's good at brain surgery or hacking or any of those things - it's that he likes taking things apart and putting them back together. He tinkers. His skill with delicate tasks grew from that.

4. He's old, very old, older than Megatron - but his mind is still young. He's developed slowly. In some ways he's ancient and worldly, and in others he's still naive and inexperienced.

I will give your FOUR MORE THINGS. Because I am generous.

1. It took him a very long time to figure out that he wasn't dreaming under the ice anymore. He still slips up sometimes.

2. He hates being defined by Starscream, but he takes some comfort in knowing that everything Starscream has ever touched is defined by Starscream.

3. Deep down, he always believed that he wasn't a real scientist, that someone would call him out for faking it - so when he went back to just being a shuttle, well, that was just the natural order of the universe.

4. There's only one being he actually hates. Megatron has only ever destroyed: their world, their people, everyone Skyfire ever knew. Even Starscream.

Actually 4 is a FANTASTIC number because it's two 2s and there is NOTHING TASTIER than 2s, except possibly 5s, and 4 is in no way an odd number AT ALL which is good because odd numbers are just GROSS and the only way 4 could be better is if it were a prime number but even numbers can't be prime and THAT MAKES ME SO SAD.

XD Don't ever ask me about 7, 8, or 9, because my utter hatred of those numbers cannot be calculated. 7! YOU WERE ALMOST OKAY. But then you had to go and NOT ONLY be an odd number (I think - it's hard to tell, I mean, it's a 3 and a 4 and when you stack the 3 and the 4 it's one thing, but it's ALSO a 5 and a 2 and for some reason the combination of these two states of being makes me think it's even because HELLO, IT'S A FIVE AND A TWO AND EVERYONE KNOWS FIVES ARE HONORARY EVEN NUMBERS) but it also CONTAINS an odd number (SCREW YOU, THREE) and 8 and 9 are just *ptooey*! A FIVE AND A THREE, WHO DOES THAT, THAT IS JUST WRONG.

Oh, 11. Once we get past 10 I start to get fuzzy. 11 is... hmm. It's two 1s, which is... wrong. It's 1 to the 1st power, I think? Plus one. In scientific notation. It's not a nice number at all, you can't hardly break it down, and if you multiply it by things you get get those things doubled unless they're big and then you cry yourself to sleep because WHO MULTIPLIES 11 BY 13, THAT IS JUST SICK.

I love all of these, ALL. But 3 actually breaks my heart more, and somewhere Starscream is shrieking at him in indignant fury -- because if Skyfire wasn't a real scientist, Starscream wouldn't have PICKED HIM, now stop insulting Starscream with that slag!

Imposter syndrome is a tricky thing. :( He knows he's accomplished, he just - keeps expecting to be called out as a fake. Because shuttles can't be scientists, they're shuttles. But ahaha Starscream would SO take it as a personal slight. Poor dear. XD

And here's a character: Prowl.

Ooooh. Prowl. Prowl, Prowl, Prowl. It's hard to boil him down to facts, despite his logicalness.

1. Prowl has emotions the same as anyone else. It's just that he knows when to set them aside, when to bottle them up and do what has to be done - and admittedly, he does run a little cold. When he's angry you won't hardly know it because he clamps down on EVERYTHING, and the only way you can really tell is because his decision-making goes to hell.

2. Prowl will never permit himself to be in a relationship with: a superior, a subordinate, another officer, an enemy, a civilian, and at that point he will just make up excuses to prevent himself from ever giving in to the need for companionship because... well. He's used to it this way.

3. He can analyze a situation, a person, and know immediately what needs to be done. He isn't very good at doing it, though, particularly with people.

4. He's a little in love with Prime, a little in awe of him, and completely faithful to him. But he wasn't always.

Oh I do love Blurr. :3 I shall assume TFA.

1. He's Elite Guard for a reason. He's damn good at his job and he has never, ever failed a mission. He is all work and almost no play and he is a damn sight older and more mature than most people write him.

2. He's sharp as a tack. Not because he's significantly smarter than average, but because he thinks even faster than he moves and his mind is always working.

3. He doesn't carry weapons. Any weapons. All he carries are stasis cuffs. It's not just that he's that damn good - it's because his job is to not engage. He observes, intercepts, and reports back when he can. He doesn't get noticed. And there is nothing he hates more than having to blow a perfectly good cover because of some dipstick, but he knows when to pull out.

4. It really, really bothers him when people interrupt him, ignore him, make him repeat himself, or ask him to talk slower. He gets treated like he's stupid just because he talks too fast for them to understand. It makes his job easier when others underestimate him, but it still pisses him off.

spacehussy is really the Blurr of us, I want her to do this meme so I can ask for Blurr. :3 Blurr Blurr Blurr. He's so awesome. I'd really like to see some fic for him where he actually gets to be as badass as he is in the show instead of a weeping child. I want fic where he can make his own decisions and stand up to Shockwave and just - be awesome. Because he is. XD

Yesss Blurr is kickass. ♥ I'm not entirely sure where my Blurr falls, hahaha. |D He pretty much got worked on psychologically from the beginning by Longarm and then all out mindfuck later on. Hmm. He was perfectly content to follow Shockwave (...after a while XD), but he did also pretty much stand up and prove himself to Megatron... and sort of spat in Starscream's face when the Seeker kept getting too close/interested for his (or Shockwave's, HI POSSESSIVENESS) comfort. |D That was pretty much fun to write, but screechy pissed off Starscream is amazing in his own right. Hahaha. But yes, badass Blurr. We need more of. ♥

Our Blurr, in Disassembled-verse, goes through the usual "taken by Shockwave blah blah" bit... And he does get broken... But he starts out strong, and if Shockwave had actually been interested in interrogating him, he wouldn't have broken. But things happened and he did and even after that, he keeps Shockwave on his toes. He's supposedly Shockwave's possession but he keeps pushing, taking charge and being the aggressor. At the very, very end, after centuries and centuries, Blurr kind of steps in at Shockwave's side and gets to boss around the other Deceptions, with only very few exceptions. It's so hot. XD

BLURR: BADASS. HELL YEAH.

I'm not sure I could come up with more coherent stuff about Skyfire anyway. XD Alright, Thundercracker! Oh he's tricky. Mrrrrr. I'm gonna cheat and tell you things about him from a story spacehussy and I are working on, a kind of prequel to G1 and AHM.

1. He's completely in love with Skywarp. Before the war, that was enough for both of them.

2. He always thought it would just be him and Skywarp, and he was happy. They weren't a trine but he liked it that way. ...Then he found Starscream. He regrets that, sometimes.

3. He is really creeped out by Megatron. ...He really believes in the Decepticon cause.

4. Sometimes the absolute best thing is to go for a pointless flight in formation with his trine. Holding position off their wingtips is so simple and satisfying. ...Then Skywarp inevitably wants to play tag and somehow he's always It first, and that's good too.

THAT WAS SO HARD I'm sorry those answers all suck D: Poor Thundercracker, clearly I need to ponder him more. He's just so gosh-darned quiet.
