The fact that in the interviews he freely admits he had NO IDEA what Transformers even WERE before being approached about the movies, and that his first reaction was "whut, movies based off of some ancient 80's kids toys? that's stupid!" just... yeah. Sums it all up right there. He's not a fanboy, he does not grok the fans. Thank god somebody beat him into doing right by Optimus and Peter Cullen, and a lot of the people working around him ARE fans, but yeah. Bay is sort of fail at it. =P

Also? Let me just say how much I will forgive IDW just about ANYTHING for reviving Ravage after that travesty of a horrific death Bay tried to give him. x____x Save the kitty!
